Understanding & Supporting Social and Emotional Learning

Explore social and emotional learning (SEL) in the context of school and home settings. Through this course you will develop a base of awareness around topics of SEL, focusing specifically on measuring SEL learning, proactive strategies for supporting the development of SEL skills, the connection to mental health services, and how all stakeholders supporting a learner can impact long-term positive outcomes.

Measuring Your Impact

Explore how to implement evidence-based and research-informed assessment practices within classrooms utilizing The MARIO Framework. Participants will explore MARIO’s diagnostic assessments, MARIO Minutes, methods for collecting data from one-to-one learning conversations, and a variety of other approaches to data collection.
